BlackBerry 10 OS Details and BlackBerry Z10 Launching Under $199
BGR has just posted 100+ images of BlackBerry 10 OS (Golden Master version) which they received from a close source working within RIM and have access to the company’s latest software. The screenshots leaked onto the web reveal some interesting details about the OS which is scheduled to be officially unveiled at its upcoming media event on Jan. 30 2013. But for those who would like a free preview of some of the action you’ll be able to get your hands on, check out the pictures below that shows flurry of screens, essential gestures, options and seeded applications.

The images also details RIM’s voice recognition assistant (like iPhone’s Siri and Samsung’s S-Voice), BlackBerry Hub, rejuvenated BlackBerry Messenger and much more. Going by the new details in these screens, all I would like to say is that BlackBerry 10 OS looks INSANE.
As evident in screenshots, as soon as you start your BlackBerry Z10 for the first time for setup, you will be prompted with a message saying – “The tutorial will show you how to navigate. The following gestures must start from the edge of the glass”. In order to invoke the options available in an app, users have to touch the top edge of the glass and swipe down with a finger. To exit from the setup app, touch the bottom edge of the glass and slide your finger up.
The picture shows off RIM’s message centre that allows users to view messages from multiple email accounts, BlackBerry Messenger, social networking sites such as Facebook, twitter, etc and text messages all in one location. The microphone logo in the centre of the UI clearly confirms that RIM has developed its own Siri-like application that will give users the ability to use voice commands on their BlackBerry 10 phone. Check out here to see images of BlackBerry 10 and various other options available with latest OS.
Per report, to compete with Galaxy line of devices and Apple iPhone, RIM is planning to launch the BlackBerry Z10 under $199 with two year agreement. It’s pretty clear from the approach of RIM, that they are more concerned and serious to gain back its prominence in the market.
and let us know in the comment section below what you guys think about it and are you planning to buy BlackBerry Z10?
